Медаль «Александр Пушкин 225 лет» учреждена Российским союзом писателей и по своему статусу является общественной наградой, вручаемой поэтам и писателям за вклад в развитие современной русской литературы. На основании решения Президиума РСП медалью награждаются авторы, произведения которых оценены жюри литературных премий Российского союза писателей.
Положение о медали «Александр Пушкин 225 лет»
1. Медаль «Александр Пушкин 225 лет» учреждена Общероссийской общественной организацией «Российский союз писателей» в соответствии со Статьей 24 Федерального Закона РФ «Об общественных объединениях» (82-ФЗ) и является общественной наградой, вручаемой за вклад в развитие русской культуры и литературы.
2. Медаль учреждена в 2024 году, в год празднования 225-летия со дня рождения Александра Сергеевича Пушкина в память о великом русском поэте.
3. Правом ношения медали могут быть наделены как граждане Российской Федерации за заслуги в области литературного творчества, так и граждане иностранных государств – за особые заслуги в укреплении дружбы и взаимопонимания между народами, за плодотворную деятельность по сближению и взаимообогащению культур различных наций, пропаганду русского языка за рубежом.
4. В целях поощрения деятельности по развитию современной русской литературы право ношения медали предоставляется номинантам литературных премий Российского союза писателей, произведения которых оценены жюри.
5. Представление лиц к праву ношения медали осуществляется Президиумом Российского союза писателей. Список кандидатур утверждается президентом Российского союза писателей.
6. Награждение медалью осуществляется на литературных мероприятиях, проводимых Российским союзом писателей в Центральном Доме литераторов и на других творческих площадках.
